Evaluation Process
Tournament team evaluations are typically held in late January or early February and serve two important purposes: selecting tournament teams and ensuring competitive balance among Wilson League Baseball teams.
8U–9U Evaluations
Evaluations for the 8U and 9U tournament teams are conducted by members of the Wilson Youth Baseball organization who do not have a child playing at the level being evaluated. This helps provide an objective evaluation process.
10U–12U Evaluations
Evaluations for the 10U, 11U, and 12U tournament teams are conducted entirely by the Wilson High School Baseball coaching staff.
Evaluations help the league make tournament team selections while also supporting balanced competition across Wilson League Baseball. Players must attend the applicable evaluation to be considered for tournament team selection.
