T-Ball

T-Ball is Wilson Youth Baseball's introductory division. This noncompetitive, instructional program introduces young players to hitting, fielding, and throwing while helping them have fun and develop a love for baseball. Players use batting tees during games and practices.

Minors - A (Machine/Coach Pitch)

Minors-A (Machine/Coach Pitch) is the transition from T-Ball to more structured baseball. Machine or coach pitch helps players develop hitting, fielding, throwing, and catching skills while learning defensive positions, baserunning, and the rules of the game.

Minors - AA (Hybrid Kid/Coach Pitch)

Minors-AA (Hybrid) bridges the gap between machine/coach pitch and full kid pitch. Players begin developing pitching and catching fundamentals while building their understanding of baserunning, defensive strategy, and game situations.

Minors - AAA

Minors-AAA (Kid Pitch) is a competitive player-pitch division that develops more advanced baseball skills, situational awareness, and strategy. Fourth graders must play Minors-AAA.

Majors

Majors is Wilson Youth Baseball's advanced youth division. Games use a larger 50/70 field to help prepare players for middle-school baseball while continuing to develop skills, strategy, and game awareness.

Evaluation Process

Winter evaluations help Wilson Youth Baseball balance its regular league teams and select tournament teams. Players in second grade and older participate in the evaluation process, and all registered players will be placed on a team.

Players seeking tournament team selection must attend the applicable winter evaluations. Evaluation and team-selection details will be communicated by the league.
